3. Settings/options
You can access your settings by clicking on your profile picture in the menu bar on the right. In the top left menu bar you will find the following options:
- General
On the left below the menu bar you will find the name or user you are logged in with.
To the right of Platform Connection there is a button with the extension and the name of your account, if you click on it you can either connect or log out. This determines the user that will be addressed for the Click2Dial option.
Next, via the Ringing Caller Info option, you can choose to display the contact details (name and number) of the incoming call in the history screen (Recent calls) of the Dial panel.
The Focus On Ringing option brings the Fonzie application to the foreground as soon as you receive a call so that you can see the call details and only have to choose to take the call.
Via the Yealink Phonebook URL, you can synchronise the data with your Yealink desk phone. Via the button behind this link, you can simply take a copy and place it in the appropriate settings of the desk phone.Finally, you can choose the regional settings via Timezone and set this application as default for the tel or callto protocol via the Set as default button.
- Audio
Calling: Output device -> Voice audio
Calling: Input device -> Used microphone
Ringing: Output device -> Ringtone
Ringing: Which device -> Ringtone in headset and/or speaker
Via Audio Settings, you can choose the input and output devices. Here you can choose which micro and/or speaker it rings through and which devices you use to hold the call.
Via the option: Ring on both devices, you can also have it ring on several devices at the same time, so that if, for example, you do not have your headset on, you can still hear the call through the speaker of your computer.
Finally, you can choose a ringtone and adjust the volume. - SIP Calling
Turn your Fonzie into a softphone, so that you can make calls with Fonzie. For this, you only need to click the SIP Calling slider and add a SIP Username and SIP Password. Via the Save button at the top right, you can save the data.
When the application is registered and ready to call, you can see this on the button in the top right. This is green with the notation Registered or red with the notation Disconnected.
As soon as you switch SIP Calling back on, you can simply register or refresh the connection by clicking the Disconnected button and it will show up as Registered again.
