1. Login and administration
Rights to manage the phone book can be requested by sending an e-mail to: support@fonzer.com.
You can manage your personal and/or shared contacts via your 🤙 Fonzie/MyFonzer user.
a. Management via MyFonzer
Login with your 🤙Fonzie user to MyFonzer.
The example screens below show the following:
Personal is your default personal address book. It is created automatically.
Fonzer in this case is our shared phonebook, which you can create and name yourself.
You can add as many personal or shared phonebooks as you like by clicking on the '+ Create' button.
Buttons:
- Go to the contacts overview: you can view and edit them here or add new ones and delete again.
- Edit the address book name and create it company wide (=shared contacts)
- Create groups in the phonebook, these make it easier to filter contacts
- Delete the phonebook permanently.
From the contact list, you can upload contacts using a file or url, by pressing the import icon.
After importing a list, you can indicate which columns you want to add:
b. Managing your customer's contacts as a Reseller
If you are logged in as a Reseller, you can manage the shared address books via the overview of clients and then the Phonebook tab.
Only the user can manage the personal address book.
2. Adding the contacts can also be done in 🤙Fonzie
The Contacts tab gives you an overview of all existing contacts where you can choose to change or delete them.
Via the button '+Add contact' at the top right, a screen opens where you can enter all desired contact details.
You can choose to which address book you want to add them.
Here, too, you can create groups to make filtering easier.
3. 🤙Fonzie

b. Settings: in the menu bar on the right, you can consult your settings by clicking on your profile picture.
Here you can provide a synchronization with the data of your Yealink phone.
c. Contacts: manage your contacts' data here; see chapter 2 for adding, editing and deleting contacts.
In this overview you can call the selected contact directly by clicking on the telephone number.
You can search here via the Search... bar and/or shorten the search list by means of the address book and the filter group.
d. Dial
This is the main screen with an overview of your favourite contacts, internal numbers and call history.
The column Favorites can be sorted by using the wheel and you can add your favorite contacts from your address book.
To add a new favourite to this list, click on the '+Add' button where you can find an internal number via 'Extensions' or all the contacts from your address book(s) via 'Contacts'. By ticking your choice in front and saving it, it will be added as a favourite. Finally via the 'Custom' tab, you can immediately add a new contact via hotkey.
You can move (sort) the blocks by clicking on the horizontal bars in front and dragging them to the desired place in the list.
BLF (status):
Green: your contact is available
Orange: your contact is being called or is placing a call
Red: your contact is occupied
During the call, you can select the following actions from the green bar at the top of the screen:
Hold: you put the call on hold
Transfer: you connect to another person
Terminate: you end the call
The right half of the screen shows the history of all your calls. You can also start a call in this way by clicking on the receiver icon next to the data.
