Note: this screen may look different on different Android phones
For Android all apps are by default set to “Battery saving”. In order to receive incoming calls on the background, Android users need to adjust the settings in the phone.

The search icon behind Forward to Contact will lead you to a phonebook, you can select contacts from your mobile phone in the tab Mobile and from
If your dialplan contains any Flow Control you can enable or disable them by tapping the toggle switch.
5. Placing outbound calls
With Qaller Plus enabled the app allows you to place outbound calls to local extensions, dialplans and external numbers. All settings of your extension will be in force, including the Caller ID and Call Recording.
Using the built-in dialer
6. Extra Qaller App Advise:
The Qaller PLUS is a very good solution, however there are some limitations and points you need to know.
VoIP and WiFi or Mobile data
VoIP over WIFI/mobile data is sensitive to the signal quality, the processing power of your mobile phone and the quality of the WIFI access point.
You can easily lose your signal while walking in the office or driving around in your car, even for a very short period.
WiFi can be interrupted by Bluetooth or one of many other signals that can pollute the WiFi waves.
Incoming Calls and dialplans
The Qaller PLUS app will work fine for outgoing calls as it will register automatically when used. However, for incoming calls it is always possible that, due to the settings of the smartphone in both Android or OIS, the Qaller PLUS app is in a sort of sleeping mode and has to be activated in order to set up the call. It is also possible that the Qaller PLUS app is registering while the incoming call is setting up or the smartphone has no data connection available at all.
In order not to miss an incoming call: you will need to create a fall back in the dial plans (company AND user dialplans). You can be creative in the setup of these incoming dial plans depending on the needs of the customer.
- At the end of a dialplan: transfer to 1 or more numbers.
Tip: a mix of multiple external and internal numbers can be added in one huntgroup.
- Add a voicemail e.g. ‘We are currently very busy …’ so you can call back.
- Use the email app to notify when a call is missed with the combination of a message that says e.g. ‘we have noted your number and will call back asap’.
As you can transfer or call directly to an internal number, it is possible this call ends into void if this user diaplan has no fall back. You can create the same fall back scenarios as for the company dialplan (however, watch out for internal loops 😉).
